All of our graphics and RTI templates are created specifically for both the original iPad resolution as well as the newest Retina display resolution. This means sharper, clearer graphics on both devices and the best possible final product for your customers. Each new design we deliver will include both traditional and Retina devices with all supported page templates and two separate bitmap libraries with graphics specifically created and optimized at both resolutions.

Semi-transparent PNGs

We've designed our RTI templates and RTI graphics to work seamlessly with our standard color palette but we have a few tricks up our sleeves too. One of the key features of our graphics set is the use of semi-transparent PNGs. We want our graphics to work with other variations you'd like to try so we make our PNGs with a semi-transparent state so they pick up the tint of the background color you select to keep a custom look but add flexibility. It also looks really cool with the right background image!

Background overlays

Another great design feature is gradient background overlays. By again leveraging the transparency feature of PNGs we've developed background images that 'overlay' whatever background you decide to use in your RTI design - whether a color or an image - to create a subtle design element that adds a simple and elegant touch to your final interface.

Full graphics set

Each RTI template includes the full library of images shown in the page samples as well as dozens of others to help you customize the final RTI design to fit your needs. We'll also release bonus sets that will be available for free to current customers as we develop more features and get more requests for customization.

For control graphics, such as our light bulb, fan and window shades, we provide reverse state with lit bulb and blurred fan graphics. We also provide these for power buttons and more.

Re-imagined RTI template design paradigm

We've evaluated the way users interact with their home automation systems... where do they click, what do they click on, how do they navigate from room-to-room. We've worked to simplify the way information is presented to users to ease their learning curve and decrease support calls. We've also designed our template away from the dependency on brand or task-specific icons that is constantly racing to keep up with new products and services by deferring this to text values where possible.
